4-Axis CNC Milling

Our 4-axis CNC milling machine is powerful technology mainly used for milling sculptures and industrial objects from high-density foam. Using this machine we are able to precisely mill out almost anything you could dream of out of foam.

After cutting down high-quality foam blocks to size we place them on the machine, insert the desired tool, upload the project file into the machine computer, and wait for a masterpiece to be revealed. This process not only guarantees accuracy but also gives artists and clients more freedom in many areas of the creative process.

Machine capabilities:

The machining time greatly varies based on the size and detail of the object.

• A 2ft x 1ft project will usually take around 5 hours to mill.

• An 8ft x 4ft could take up to 30 hours to mill.

• Our machine can mill in a fourth axis, allowing for 360-degree milling.

There are instances when projects are larger than the machine bed or there is an awkward section on the project. When this occurs we have a slightly different strategy.

• We will strategically slice the project into sections using the computer software.

• Mill the pieces separately.

• Then precisely secure the pieces back together.
